All-inclusive, concierge-level college admissions support for San Antonio families — one plan, one dedicated advisor, no confusing packages or surprise fees.
By the numbers
The college admissions process is long, complicated, and stressful. For most families, it lasts the entire senior year — a nine-month marathon of applications, essays, financial aid forms, scholarship deadlines, and high-stakes decisions.
Your student’s school counselor cares deeply. But they’re responsible for hundreds of students. San Antonio area students receive an average of just 30 minutes of individual college counseling per year. That’s not guidance — that’s a handshake.
You will have my direct line — not a call center, not a team, not a chat portal. When a deadline is looming and your student needs answers after a long school day, you reach me directly, and responding to my families is always my priority. That level of personal attention is not a feature of Launchpad. It is the entire point.
Launchpad was built to give every San Antonio family the expert, personal guidance that most families never know is available to them.
After 18 years, the district eliminated my position without warning. Instead of walking away, I built something better.
I spent 18 years at Northside ISD — San Antonio’s largest school district — most recently serving as College, Career & Military Advisor and member of the campus leadership team. When budget constraints ended my position overnight, I had a choice: move on, or keep doing the work I love. I founded Launchpad College Advising because helping students find their next step is more than a profession. It is my life’s passion. And I wasn’t done.
I spent 20 years working in San Antonio school districts, guiding students through every stage of the college admissions process — from college searches and applications to financial aid, scholarships, essay guidance, admissions decisions, and every requirement students must complete before their first college class.
Over the years, I have met with hundreds of admissions directors and deans of admissions at colleges and universities throughout Texas and the United States, and I continue to meet with them throughout the year — staying current on requirements, application changes, scholarship opportunities, and evolving trends.
“My promise to every family is the same: I will take as much of the stress of this process off your shoulders as I possibly can. The deadlines are mine to track. The decisions are yours to make — but you will never make them without someone experienced and fully in your corner.”
My approach is straightforward: break the process down, complete each task in the right order, and make sure every family moves from uncertainty to opportunity — one step at a time. That approach is built specifically for senior year — the most consequential year of the college admissions process.
Twenty years inside San Antonio schools. Direct access to admissions offices nationwide. Available when your student actually works.
Clients have my direct line and can reach out or request appointments as needed — phone, email, text, or video, whatever works best for your family. And whenever you need to meet in person, I come to you. Coffee shop, library, wherever is most convenient. You set the time and place.
I maintain active, ongoing relationships with admissions offices at hundreds of colleges and universities across Texas and the US. I know what each school is looking for — not from a website, from the people making the decisions.
Typical 9-to-5 office hours do not work for high school students. That’s why Launchpad’s availability is built entirely around your student’s schedule and your family’s schedule — not the other way around. That includes being available during all student holidays, including Thanksgiving week, Christmas break, and spring break.
I didn’t read about the San Antonio student experience — I lived it for two decades. I know the schools, the pressures, the districts, and the colleges that actively recruit from this region. That local depth cannot be replicated.

The Launchpad Senior Year Concierge Plan
First Monday in August through May 15
of your student’s senior year
Competing firms charge $5,000–$15,000+ for senior year alone. The Launchpad Senior Year Concierge Plan is all-inclusive — no packages, no tiers, no surprises.
“To guide students and families through the college admissions process with clarity, personal attention, and trusted expertise — helping every student move confidently from high school to their next opportunity.”
Everything you need to know before reaching out.
Senior year is the window. If your student is already a senior it is not too late — starting even in October can still make a meaningful difference on essays, scholarships, and financial aid. The sooner you reach out, the more runway we have to work with.
Launchpad currently offers the Senior Year Concierge Plan at $4,499 — one all-inclusive plan running from the first Monday in August through May 15 of your student’s senior year. Every service is included. No packages, no tiers, no add-ons, no surprise fees.
Absolutely. The process is compressed, but there is still real value in having an experienced advisor managing deadlines, essays, financial aid, and scholarship applications — even with less runway. Reach out as soon as possible and we’ll assess exactly where your student stands, what’s still ahead, and how to make the most of the time remaining. Every situation is different, and a free consultation is the best way to figure out the right path forward.
Your school counselor is a dedicated professional — but they’re responsible for hundreds of students simultaneously. San Antonio area students receive an average of about 30 minutes of individual college counseling per year from their school. That’s simply not enough time to navigate the full college admissions process effectively.
Launchpad provides one dedicated advisor — me — working exclusively with your senior for nine months. I track your student’s deadlines, review their essays, know their college list inside and out, and make time when questions come up. That level of personal attention is what makes the difference.
No, and any advisor who claims to guarantee admission is not being honest with you. College admissions decisions are made solely by the admissions offices of individual institutions — they are outside anyone’s control. What I can guarantee is that your student’s application will be strategically positioned, thoroughly prepared, and submitted with every possible advantage. I have had great success helping students reach their goals, and I will work tirelessly to put your student’s best case forward.
I come to you. Wherever is most convenient for your family — a coffee shop near your home, your student’s school, a library, wherever works — I’ll be there. San Antonio families lead busy lives, and I built Launchpad around that reality. There’s no office you need to drive to. You set the time and location, and I show up. Most families find that meeting at a local coffee shop works perfectly, and it keeps the student and parent in the same conversation together.
Everything. The Senior Year Concierge Plan is all-inclusive from the first Monday in August through May 15 — one flat fee, no tiers, no upgrades. Every client has identical access to Joseph: same response time, same personal attention, same direct line from day one through May 15.
It means you have my direct line and can reach out or request appointments as needed. When your student finishes their essay draft and needs feedback, they text me. When a parent gets an email from a college they don’t understand, they reach out to me. When something changes — a new test score, a school drops off the list, a question about financial aid — you don’t submit a ticket or wait for a scheduled call. You reach out directly, and I make every effort to respond promptly — typically within one business day, and often much sooner. I am also available during all student holidays including Thanksgiving week, Christmas break, and spring break — because that is when a significant amount of college work gets done. That is the entire model. No junior advisors, no handoffs, no portals.
Yes. I work with students applying to colleges and universities across the full spectrum — from Texas public universities like UT Austin, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech to private schools, out-of-state universities, and selective institutions nationwide. I maintain active relationships with admissions offices nationwide, meeting with them regularly throughout the year — so I have current, firsthand knowledge of what each school is looking for, regardless of which schools end up on your student’s list.
Full payment is due at the time of signing the Client Service Agreement. Services begin once the signed agreement and payment are received. There are no installment plans — keeping things simple and straightforward is a core part of how Launchpad operates.
This is one of the most important conversations I have with families — and I have it early. My job is not just to help your student apply to colleges. It is to help them build a college list that includes schools they will genuinely thrive at across a range of selectivity. A well-built list means that when decisions arrive, your student has real, exciting options — not just a backup. I have seen students fall in love with their second or third choice school once they visit and understand what it offers. The goal is the right fit, not just the most competitive name. That said, I will always push to put your student’s strongest possible application in front of every school on the list.
Intentionally few. Launchpad is built on personal attention, and that promise only holds if my client load stays manageable. I work with a limited number of senior families each cycle so that every student gets the time, availability, and focus they deserve. This is not a platform with hundreds of students assigned to rotating advisors. When you work with Launchpad, you work with me.
All fees paid to Launchpad College Advising are non-refundable. This is stated clearly in the Client Service Agreement that both parties sign before services begin. I encourage every family to review the agreement carefully, ask any questions before signing, and reach out for a free consultation to make sure Launchpad is the right fit before making a commitment.
I’ll reach out within one business day to schedule your free consultation.
